Who's behind the kits.
Noetika Labs builds expert systems people own outright. Founded by John Gabrick.
The idea was right. The machinery wasn't.
Expert systems are not a new idea. They were invented many years ago, back when you could capture an expert's rules but the engine underneath them was brittle — every piece of knowledge hand-fed by specialists who cost more than the answer was worth. So the field stalled and waited for an engine.
The large language model is the inference engine that finally arrived. Everything that made expert systems impractical then — the parsing, the brittleness, the cost of getting knowledge in — is now the cheap part. What was hard is easy. And what everyone assumed was easy, namely knowing whose rules to encode and whether the answer is any good, turns out to be the whole problem.
What Noetika Labs makes
Expert systems people can own. Not software you log into — a kit you install once into the AI subscription you already pay for, that then works the way a good analyst works: it reads everything, writes down why, keeps files you can edit, and comes back on a schedule to tell you what moved.
Ownership, not access
Most software is access. You pay, you log in, and the thing you paid for lives on somebody else's computer — which means it can change, meter you, or lapse, and none of that is up to you.
A kit is not access. It installs into the AI subscription you already hold and runs there, on your machine, with no licence check. There is no server in the middle and no account that can expire. Once a kit is installed, it is simply yours, and it keeps working. The twelve-month Watch window is our commitment to keep it current; it is not a switch that turns the kit off when it ends.
What every kit is held to
Nothing sells before there's evidence anyone wants it
Every kit names what has to be true before it goes on sale, and a number that would prove it. That is why the two finished kits on this site carry waiting lists instead of checkout buttons. The rule is inconvenient and it is not negotiable.
Your work stays yours
Kits run in your environment, on your machine, in your own AI. There is no account with us, no database, and nothing phoning home. A licence key is how you get back into your downloads — never a lock on software you already own.
Measured and assumed never get blended
Every figure a kit produces is tagged EVIDENCE with a source, or ASSUMPTION without one. The same mechanic is applied to this site's own claims, including the sales ones. Where a page here makes a claim that cannot yet be backed, it is required to say so in amber.
In plain English: a kit searches the web, and reads your own inbox if you point it there. What it finds and what it writes are saved on your machine, in files you can open, edit, or delete. Noetika Labs holds no account, no database, and no copy. The one company with visibility into the work is the AI provider whose subscription you already hold, since that is where the kit runs.
